NEXT

Well, I just spent the last four day in Baltimore with the young adults of CrossWay Church attending NEXT. What  wonderful time it was to not only fellowship with friends from my church, but to also see and catch up with friends from our sister churches. As always, the preaching and worship were amazing. A highlight each year for me is joining with the voices of 3,000 other people....I don't think I have to expound on that much more....it is just simply amazing. Now, as I'm home it is time to apply conviction. The "one" area that I want to apply to my life is, "If you want to feel deeply, you must think deeply." So I now begin my quest to think deeply about God and what He has done for me. Also, on my to do list is listening to D.A. Carson's message again. He said that the book of John is written in layers, but I think D.A. Carson's preaching is also in layers. Here are just few picture from our weekend...enjoy!

Summer Nights

DC

The day after I finished my last nursing final, several of us headed down to DC for a little fun. The day was complete with tons of walking, museums, rain, sun, GPS malfunctions, and our waitress drenching Seth in all eight of our beverages! Now, a little note about the whole rain thing. The weather was so odd. One minute it would be gorgeous and hot and then the next it would be pouring down rain. It would have been fine if we had all brought umbrellas, but as we found it, none of the girls had brought an umbrella; however just about ever guy had....hmmm....so much for girls being prepared and organized. The guys were very generous in lending us "unprepared girls" their umbrellas, but not without much harassment throughout the day =) All in all, it was a wonderful time enjoying my first day of break.

Welcome to my blog! I can't promise I will be the most faithful with updating; however I thought I might bore you all with pictures that I take, stories from the life of a nursing student, and other random life experiences.
