Thanksgiving #1: Family

Since Thanksgiving is fast approaching, I'm going to do a little series on things that I'm thankful for. They will not be in any particular order of importance, but today I will start with family. Im so blessed with such a wonderful family (on David's side too). Words can't even express all my gratitude and love towards each member, but I'm so blessed that God saw fit to place me where I am and with the family I have! Here are some pictures:

The Hanna Family

I had a blast taking this family's pictures a couple weeks ago. This couple was David's caregroup leaders and I had the privilege of being in their caregroup as well while we were engaged. It is such a joy to watch Quay and Shannon interact with each other. You don't have to be around them long before their love for one another becomes very evident. What a wonderful example they are to their children and those who are blessed to interact with them. Here are a couple of shots from the day:

Ryle

I had the joy of watching this little sweet boy be born. I can't believe how big he is getting...time is going so very fast.

Christmas Cards

I have always enjoyed photography and style, so when the two are combined it is a happy day for me! I’m also a huge proponent of photo Christmas cards. I enjoy sending them out and they are also my favorite kind of card to receive during the holiday season. This year I have been in search for a card that encompasses a little more of my style rather than the usual cookie cutter photo card. I was so excited when I came across the wonderful holiday collection on Shutterfuly.com. There are so many lovely cards that it was hard to pick a favorite. To me it was like looking at Christmas card heaven. If you are in search for a place to find a Christmas photo card for your family this year check out the next three links:
