So two weeks ago Ang B. and I road tripped down to see our very dear friend Bry in NC! This trip was filled with so many fun experiences and memories. First, Ang and I started out at 3am Monday morning. We each had coffee in hand and were very giddy which made for a wonderful combination of alertness. The trip was extremely uneventful except for a near encounter with a skunk and Ang's car making an awful sound for a short period of time. That whole situation brought us a bit of laughs. I respond by saying, "Aaang, what is that noise?" Ang just says, "I dunno." Then Ang's classic prayer, "Lord please make the noise stop." And then it stopped and Ang goes well that is how girls take care of car problems.....oh what good times! We arrived safe and sounds in 6 1/2 hours and I drove on 95 for the first time and conquered my fear of tunnels and drove through one for the first time. Once we got there we had a wonderful week spending time with Bry and the Booker family. Girls I love you both so much and I want to take the time to honor both of you for the faithful friends you have been to me. I'm so thankful for the way you both point out sin in my life and also encourage me in the Lord. And I can't go without saying how much I LOVE to laugh with you both.
